ABOUT CHRISTOPHER JAMES

Christopher James is a country artist originally from Ayersville, Ohio, whose music blends traditional country storytelling with modern production and authentic life experience.

After more than 20 years serving in the United States Army, Christopher began sharing his own music after spending years helping other artists and performers find their voice. Drawing inspiration from the country music he grew up on in the 1990s and early 2000s, his songs combine honest storytelling, memorable melodies, and a deep respect for the genre's roots.

A true independent artist, Christopher produces, records, mixes, and masters much of his own music from his home studio in Maryland while performing the majority of the instrumentation himself. In just over a year of releasing music, he has built more than 60,000 streams, earned regional radio support, secured playlist placements, opened for Garth Brooks, and contributed production work on a Craig Morgan project.

Whether delivering a traditional country story song or a more modern country anthem, Christopher's goal remains the same: create music that connects with real people and stands the test of time.

Currently based in the Washington, DC area, Christopher continues to build his catalog and prepare for the next chapter of his musical journey.
